Important Leadership Change at MaST II Tacony Campus

Dear MaST II Families & Staff,

We are writing to provide you with an important update regarding a change in leadership within our MaST II administration. This communication aims to share the details of this transition and outline the steps we are taking to ensure a smooth and supportive academic year for our middle school students.

Ms. Dombrowski, our Middle School Principal and valued member of our leadership team, has accepted a position at another school which offers flexibility.  While we are saddened by her departure, we want to express our gratitude for her dedication to MaST II, its students, and its families during her tenure. Her contributions have been significant, and we wish her the very best in her new endeavor.

We recognize that this transition, occurring at the start of the school year, is less than ideal, especially as we prepare for back-to-school nights. In the interim, and to ensure consistent support for our middle school grades, a dedicated team of administrators will be stepping in to assist. This team includes:

  • Ms. Brophy, School Leader

  • Mr. Renninger, High School Principal/Assistant School Leader

  • Ms. Finn & Ms. Banas, Academic Coordinators

  • Ms. Jones, Special Education Coordinator

Their combined expertise and commitment will provide continued guidance and oversight during this transitional period. During this time, Mr. Renninger (jrenninger@mast2.org) will serve as the primary point of contact for all middle school-related questions and concerns. Please do not hesitate to reach out to him with any immediate inquiries.

Further details about the transition to a new principal will be communicated in the coming weeks. We are actively working to finalize these arrangements and will share them as soon as possible. Our priority is to ensure consistent leadership and support for our students and academic programs for the remainder of the school year, with a dedicated administrator in place. We are committed to a thorough and thoughtful selection process to identify the best fit for our community.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter. We appreciate your understanding and continued partnership as we navigate this leadership transition. Our collective goal remains to provide an exceptional educational experience for all MaST II students.

Sincerely,

John F. Swoyer III
